Our Annual Diabetes Garden

Party took place on Sunday 15th

August this year.  As you can see

from the photo everyone was there

soaking up the sun.  Sadly the

venue had to be changed from

Glenys and Stuart's home in Talke

to Christine's home in Tean following the loss of

Glenys in May.

The day went well, with the weather being on our side for a change!  We had various stalls including bric-a-brac, tombola, raffle, refreshments and the WI even provided a cake stall. The day was really successful with good attendance and we raised over £600 towards our aims and objectives.

We would like to thank Christine & David for the use of their home, all the volunteers who helped with the setting up, selling and taking down of the stalls and a very big thank you to all those who supported us on that day by turning up and buying.
