The pictures on this page show a small part of the recent AGM which took place on Wednesday 11th March 2009 at Bradwell Lodge. This is our annual event when the funding raised throughout the previous year by our band of "happy volunteers", at a very large variety of events is then shared out between lots of local worthy causes. Plus an amount that is also then donated to the Diabetes Research program.
The fantastic generosity of the people of Staffordshire never fails to surprise us, even with this credit crunch, they really dig deep for charity. "Thank You"

Mrs Chris Bloor (Our Chair) proudly presented the Nabarro Medal, which was Awarded to Mrs Hilda Tipper (Seen here with her daughter) This is a very special medal and is presented for 50 years of living with Diabetes. This is a special moment and an very                                                                          important  part of the AGM.

Some our Officers from the left:-  Miss Marilyn O'Neil our Treasurer,Guest Speaker Malcolm Barber, Mrs Chris Bloor our Chair and David Scott our Secretary.

Stephen Parsons recieving the cheque for Diabetes Research from our Chair Mrs Chris Bloor. Stephen is a dedicated volunteer who raises quite an amount of funding in a year with his cheeky ways! "Well Done Stephen"

Below are a variety of pictures taken on the evening of this wonderful annual event                                   "I "I apoligise" in advance for not putting in the names of all who attended, but I will amend this when i get the final minutes of the AGM meeting.

Settling in prior to the start of the AGM.          We had an excellent turnout once again. The group has so many volunteers and followers that it has gone from using a small room to using a large hall.
